Tyre Saving Ramps

The B-G Tyre Saving Ramps are designed to help preserve the condition of vehicle tyres during long periods of stationary storage. When a vehicle is left standing for extended periods, the constant static load at the contact patch can lead to flat spotting. This is where the tyre becomes slightly deformed, often resulting in vibration, uneven wear, and reduced performance once the vehicle is back in use.

These ramps feature a carefully contoured cradle profile that helps distribute the vehicle’s weight more evenly across the tyre. By supporting the tyre in its natural shape, they reduce the concentrated pressure points that typically cause distortion and casing fatigue over time.

They are manufactured from high-density, closed-cell EPS foam, offering a strong yet lightweight solution that is easy to handle and position. The material is resistant to UV exposure, moisture, oils, and temperature changes, making the ramps suitable for long-term workshop or storage use. A non-slip base helps keep them stable on a variety of surfaces including concrete, tarmac, and garage floors, while the universal design accommodates a wide range of tyre sizes.

By reducing stress on the tyre carcass, these ramps help extend tyre life, reduce the likelihood of flat spotting, and ensure tyres remain round and balanced when the vehicle is returned to the road or track.

Each set has a combined load capacity of 2721kg (6000lb), and the B-G Tyre Saving Ramps are supplied as a set of four.
